The authors regret that the original version of this document repeated the recommendation about invasive testing in the main text. In the section “ What are the obstetrical implications of pregnancies complicated by chronic hepatitis B infection? ”, the second bolded recommendation should read, “Thus, we do not recommend cesarean delivery for the sole indication of reducing perinatal hepatitis B virus transmission (GRADE 1B). ” The final bolded recommendation in this section correctly reads, “ We suggest individuals with hepatitis B infection who desire invasive testing may have the procedure performed after an informed discussion on risks and benefits in the context of shared decision-making and in the context of how testing will affect clinical care (GRADE 2C). ” The recommendations are presented correctly in the Abstract and the Summary of Recommendation Table.
The authors would like to apologize for any confusion caused by the error in the main text.
