The authors regret that despite the rigor applied in the analysis of our study data, an error has been identified in the published manuscript.

Specifically, neonatal morbidity was defined in the article as a composite criteria for whom, one of the criterion was the existence of an umbilical arterial pH < 7.10. However, the reported data actually correspond to an umbilical arterial pH < 7.0.

We therefore request that all instances of “pH < 7.10” are corrected to “pH < 7.0”, representing one modification in the text and another one in Table 1.

This correction does not affect the data analysis, results presentation, interpretation, discussion, or conclusions of the study.
