INTRODUCTION
Description: Vulvar hematoma is swelling of one or both labia because of interstitial bleeding, most often after blunt trauma.
ETIOLOGY AND PATHOGENESIS
Causes: Blunt trauma (straddle injury, sexual abuse, rape, water skiing), vaginal surgery or delivery, varicose veins of vulva.
