Pathophysiology:
(a)
Incidence: 1 % of all pediatric malignancies.
(b)
Age at diagnosis: 80 % between 6-months-old and 3-years-old. Neonatal and school aged children are also seen.
(c)
Etiology: Unknown.
(i)
Possible factors.
1.
Extreme prematurity and very low birth weight less than 1,000 g.
2.
Fetal alcohol syndrome.
3.
Hemi hyperplasia.
4.
Oral contraceptive use during pregnancy.
